Auf einer H\u00f6he von etwa 500 Metern nord\u00f6stlich von der Stadt, auf einer im Jahre 1936 geschaffenen Terrasse, erhebt sich das Denkmal der „Gebirgsj\u00e4ger“. <\/p>\n

Das Denkmal wurde 29. Juni 1939 in einer Feierlichkeit eingeweiht, woran der K\u00f6nig Karol der II. te, der Gr\u00fcnder des ersten Bataillons der Gebirgsj\u00e4ger, der Ministerpr\u00e4sident Armand Calinescu, Gener\u00e4le und hohe Offizieren des Heeres aus dem Korp der Gebirgsj\u00e4ger teilgenommen haben. <\/p>\n

Das Geb\u00e4ude ist den Helden des Gebirgsj\u00e4ger-Bataillons aus T\u00eergu Neamt geweiht, die in den Oituz K\u00e4mpfen im Sommer 1917 starben.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Aussichtsturm<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Das Werk verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen 16 Metern h\u00f6hen Grundbau und liegt einem Beobachtungsturm sehr nah. Auf dem Sockel sind zwei aus Bronze von Theodor Burca geschaffene Flachreliefs.
\nEines der Basreliefs zeigt eine gefl\u00fcgelte in r\u00f6mischer Kleidung angezogene Frau, die mit einem Schwert an der H\u00fcfte, in Bewegung einen Sprung von einem Berggipfel macht.
\nIn seiner linken Hand h\u00e4lt sie auf ihrem Schulter das Rum\u00e4nische Wappen und in seiner ausgestreckten rechten Hand einen Lorbeerkranz. Es symbolisiert Rum\u00e4nien. Das zweite Basrelief stellt die rum\u00e4nischen Soldaten dar, die im Kampf hineineilen.
\nAuf einer h\u00f6heren Ebene des Sockels befindet sich westw\u00e4rts ein gro\u00dfer Adler, aus Bronze, sowie auch die an die Front gehenden Soldaten des ersten Bataillons der Gebirgsj\u00e4ger.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
