Die Kirche wurde zwischen 1800 und 1808 dank des Beitrages der Kaufleute aus Familie Bra\u015foveanu in Tirgu Neamt gebaut. Die Kirche hat eine Schiffform, ist im byzantinischen kleeblattf\u00f6rmigen Stil, mit dem Turm in der Mitte gebaut. <\/p>\n
Die Festungsmauern sind von einer au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Dicke, weil in jener Zeit die religi\u00f6sen Stiftungen oft die Rolle einer Verteidigungsburg zum Bewohnerschutz \u00fcbernehmen mussten. Die Kosten der inneren, im Jahre 1822 geleisteten Malerei wurden ausschlie\u00dflich vom Kirchens\u00e4nger Ioan getragen.<\/p>\n
Die Ikonostase wurde aus Lindenholz handgearbeitet und vergoldet. Als 1864 die Brandkatastrophe dieses Stadtteil v\u00f6llig ausbrannte, wurde auch das Kirchendach zerst\u00f6rt.

Zu den wichtigen Erbgegenst\u00e4nden der Kirche z\u00e4hlen die 1826 von Kirchens\u00e4nger Ioan geschenkte Ikone des Hl. Georgs, ein im Jahre 1794 gedrucktes und vom M\u00f6nch Mihail geschenktes Evangelium, 1852 von Kir Neonil, Abt des Klosters Neamt, gespendeter Kelch und Kerze, ein vom Pfarrer Basil R\u0103smeri\u0163\u0103 gespendeter Kronleuchter, ein 1908 von Aglaia Gorgos gespendeter Kandelaber; zwei silberne Kreuze, eine aus dem Jahr 1851 stammende Stola und die f\u00fcnf Glocken, die von Kirchens\u00e4nger Ioan(1828), Maria Vasiliu, Ioan Teohari (1869), Pfarrer Nicolae Marcoci (1881), Nicholae Petroniu und Ioan Vasiliu (1898) geschenkt gegeben wurden.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
