\nMassive walls made of stone close up a precinct where there are the \u201cDormition of the Mother of God\u201d Church (the main church), the priorship building and the administrative buildings (situated in the buildings from the north side of the precinct), and the Monastery’s Museum, where previously there was the \u201cQueen Mary\u201d Workshop (situated in the building from the south side). The monastic precinct is surrounded by the monastic village, made of traditional houses, which are lined on narrow lanes, where the nuns live. <\/p>\n

The V\u0103ratec Monastery assembly was included on the List of historic monuments from Neam\u021b County in 2004, comprising of the next 5 locations: the \u201cDormition of the Mother of God\u201d Church \u2013 dating back from the beginning of the XIX century, the Bell tower of the gate \u2013 dating back from the XIX century, \u201cSt. John the Baptist\u201d Church \u2013 dating back from 1844, with additions around the year 1880, the \u201cFace Changing\u201d Church \u2013 dating back from 1847, and the Sanctums \u2013 dating back from the XIX-XX centuries. <\/p>\n

The construction of the church from the V\u0103ratec Monastery was finished in 1812, but only in 1841 was it sanctified, after the painting was finished. In 1839, the ruler Mihail Sturza of Moldavia decide that the V\u0103ratec Monastery would be independent from the other monasteries and small monasteries in the area, and the parish of nuns could take care and decide independently about what is useful for the monastery.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nSeveral landlords’ wives donated lands to this monastic settlement: the woman tax farmer Elencu Paladi, nun Elisabeta Bal\u0219, born under the name Zoe Rosetti, and married to the tax farmer Teodor Bal\u0219, and nun Safta Br\u00e2ncoveanu (1778 \u2013 August, 1857).<\/p>\n

In front of the church there is the bronze statue of Safta Br\u00e2ncoveanu, who built a part of the useful things for the monastery. The statue was made by the sculptor John Jalea, in 1935. Starting with 1962 there have been some important consolidations, restoration and renovation works both on the three churches and on the guest chambers wing and some of the buildings at the V\u0103ratec Monastery.<\/p>\n

In different periods, at the V\u0103ratec Monastery there have lived several theologians and people of culture. Among these we list the following: the female poet Veronica Micle, the protosinghel Nicodim M\u0103ndi\u021b\u0103, the bishop Partenie Ciopron, the archimandrite Bartolomeu Anania and the academician Zoe Dumitrescu-Bu\u0219ulenga. <\/p>\n

The collection includes a rich heritage of religious objects and archaic icons painted in tempera colors on wood, dating back from the XV century and which depict St. Nicolas or the Archangels Michael and Gabriel, brought from the R\u00e2\u0219ca Monastery \u2013 the Moldavian city of F\u0103lticeni.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Rezervat\u0327ia \u201cDragos\u0327 Voda\u0306\u201d este una dintre cele mai mari din Europa, cu o cuprindere de 11.500 de hectare. <\/p>\r\n

Rezervat\u0327ia a fost \u00eenfiint\u0327ata\u0306 \u00een anul 1968 s\u0327i se afla\u0306 \u00een nordul judet\u0327ului, \u00een comuna V\u00e2na\u0306tori Neamt\u0327, \u00een apropierea Ma\u0306na\u0306stirii Neamt\u0327ului. Potrivit cronicii Ocolului Silvic T\u00eergu Neamt\u0327, primele trei exemplare, Rara\u0306u, Roxana s\u0327i Raluca, au fost aduse din Polonia \u00een anul 1970. Dintre cei 28 de zimbri existent\u0327i la V\u00e2na\u0306tori-Neamt\u0327, s\u0327ase exemplare pot fi admirate la Zimbra\u0306ria \u201cDragos\u0327 Voda\u0306\u201d. Restul exemplarelor se afla\u0306 \u00een parcul de aclimatizare, care se \u00eentinde pe o suprafat\u0327a\u0306 \u00eemprejmuita\u0306 de 180 de hectare.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/div>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=\"1_2\"][et_pb_code admin_label=\"Code\" module_class=\"et_pb_image flip-container\"]

\u00cen cursul anilor s-au realizat transfer\u0103ri de zimbri \u00eentre rezerva\u021bii. \u00cen anul 1982, s-au transferat la Rezerva\u021bia de Zimbri Buc\u0219ani \u2013 Neagr\u0103 zimbrii Medalist, Mentol, Metocika, Meringhia \u0219i Robu \u0219i au r\u0103mas la \u201eDrago\u0219 Vod\u0103\u201d zimbrul Rar\u0103u \u0219i zimbroiaca Ravena. De la aceea\u0219i rezerva\u021bie, s-au adus \u00een anul 1998, trei zimbri: Radion, Rochi\u021ba \u0219i Rodia. \u00cen anul 2009, au fost aduse \u00eenc\u0103 patru femele de zimbru din Suedia.<\/p>\r\n
