\n\u201cDrago\u015f Vod\u0103\u201d reservation is one of the largest in Europe, with a surface of 11.500 hectares. The reservation was founded in 1968 and lies in the North of the county, in the commune of V\u00e2n\u0103tori in Neam\u0163, in the vicinity of Neam\u021b Monastery.
\nIn accordance with the chronicle of the Forestry in T\u00eergu Neam\u0163, the first three specimens, Rar\u0103u, Roxana and Raluca, were brought from Poland in 1970.
\nAmong the 28 existing aurochses in V\u00e2n\u0103tori-Neam\u0163, six speciments could be admired at \u201cDrago\u015f Vod\u0103\u201d reservation of aurochses.
\nThe remainder of the aurochses are in the acclimatization park which a closed surface of 180 hectares.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nAurochses have been transferred between reservations over the years.
\nIn 1982, the aurochses Medalist, Mentol, Metocika, Meringhia and Robu were transferred to the Reservation of aurochses Buc\u015fani-Neagra and at \u201cDrago\u015f Vod\u0103\u201d remained the aurochs Rar\u0103u and the female aurochs Ravena.
\nIn 1998, from the same reservation were brought three aurochses, Rodion, Rochi\u0163a and Rodia. In 2009, other four female aurochses were brought from Sweden.
\nBesides the specimens of aurochses, the reservation also includes specimens of Carpathian deer, fallow deer, roebucks, foxes, bears, wolves and species of birds. In the reservation, there are also some ponds, especially equipped for fishing, with specimens of carp, gold fish, pike perch, pike or perch.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
