\nOrganized in 1999, \u201cThe Natural Park in V\u00e2n\u0103tori Neam\u0163\u201d lies in the northern part of the county of Neam\u0163, bordering Suceava and covers the boundary rays of the communes of Cr\u0103c\u0103oani, Agapia, V\u00e2n\u0103tori-Neam\u021b and of the resorts B\u0103l\u021b\u0103te\u0219ti and Oglinzi. <\/p>\n

From a geographical point of view, the park stretches on the eastern slope of St\u00e2ni\u0219oara mountains (the subdivision of the Neam\u021b Mountains), in the eastern part of the Eastern Carpathians and over the Sub-Carpathians of Neam\u021b (which lie within the Eastern Carpathians), covering a part of the basin of Ozana and Crac\u0103u. <\/p>\n

The surface of the park is almost 31.000 hectares, out of which over 26.000 represent stock of wood.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nThe park shelters a wide range of natural, cultural and historic values, but the importance of the park resides in the impressive variety of the flora and fauna. <\/p>\n

Within the fauna, the park shelters a series of rare or endangered species: the brown bear, the lynx, the otter, the aurochs, the Carpathian deer and the roebuck. <\/p>\n

The main protected areas within the \u201cPark V\u00e2n\u0103tori Neam\u0163\u201d are \u201cThe Silver woods\u201d, \u201cThe Copper woods\u201d, \u201cDumbrava reservation of oak\u201d, the reservation of aurochses and \u201cDrago\u015f Vod\u0103\u201d Carpathian fauna. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe Silver woods\u201d made of a brush of birches, some of the trees being over 100 years old and \u201cThe Copper woods\u201d represent a natural protected area, mostly made of holms which are less than 150 years old. <\/p>\n

In the Valley of the Neam\u0163 and Nem\u0163i\u015for brook, \u201cDumbrava reservation\u201d preserves centennial oak forests. Within \u201cDrago\u015f Vod\u0103\u201d reservation of aurochses, we can also admire Carpathian deer, fallow deer, badgers and species from the fauna of birds.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
